The building has base dimensions of 34 x 21 meters, with a ridge height of 17 m (lower section) and 25 m (higher section). The structural system is complex (a combination of steel and concrete). Both pumping stations are structurally identical, with Pumping Station B2 being a mirror image of Pumping Station B1.
The steel structure we were responsible for included vertical and roof bracings, internal platforms, monorails, and the substructure for all openings and panels. The connection between steel and reinforced concrete elements was achieved using base plates with dowels (B500B reinforcement), embedded during prefabrication, onto which the steel structure was later welded.
Anticorrosion protection was carried out in accordance with exposure class C4, with the required durability of 15–25 years.
