Description

The project involves the construction of a combined-cycle gas-steam thermal power plant with an installed capacity of approximately 200 MW. Within the scope of works, our company was responsible for two main structures:

• J1 - Gas turbine building, footprint dimensions 31 x 57 m, height 20 m
• J4 - Steam turbine plant building, footprint dimensions 21 x 44 m, height 25 m

Both buildings feature a load-bearing frame system consisting of columns and beams. Hot-rolled and welded cross-sections were adopted for columns and beams, with cruciform-shaped columns implemented in the J1 building.

Anticorrosive protection was applied in accordance with exposure classes C4 (interior) and C5-I (exterior). Fire protection for columns and beams is rated at 60 minutes at fire compartment boundaries, with the remaining structural elements protected for 30 minutes.
